The car reviews contained within this service have been produced by Car & Driving, one of the UK’s leading motoring media agencies. The reviews are designed to give you more information about the many new and used cars and vans available to you before you buy.

What’s included

RAC's car reviews are intended to provide the most comprehensive and up to date resource available for users to research both new and used models. The aim is to provide new car road tests and reviews of every significant derivative of every new model available in the UK. The resource also includes short-term 'special edition' derivatives and it aims to provide information on newly launched models at least three months before they become available in UK showrooms.

For the used car buyer, the used car model guides aim to cover virtually every car which has been on sale in the UK over the last twenty five years. Each guide piece covers what you can expect from the car in question, the kind of prices you can expect to pay and information on parts prices, model values, things to look for and road impressions. These guides are meant to be just that: 'guides'. They aim to provide an outline idea of what will be involved in the ownership of the car in question. They do not purport to list the values of every derivative from every year. Values given, like the parts prices included, are estimates for guidance purposes only.
