To keep you on the road after an accident, you can add one of our courtesy car options. There are two levels of cover:
Standard Courtesy Car Cover
This option is designed to keep you mobile during the period of your claim and caters for most of our customers’ needs. A compact, 1 litre, 3-door hatchback is provided.
Enhanced Courtesy Car Cover
At the RAC we understand that everyone's needs are different and consequently, we offer the option of a larger courtesy car. This option it suited to those who already own a larger vehicle and who use it for a variety of activities such as business which may require extensive motorway driving, the school run or a big weekly shop. This level of cover provides a 5-door car, a more powerful 1.6 cc engine capacity and room to seat 5 people.
Both options provide a courtesy car for the duration of repairs to your vehicle or in the case of theft and total loss, the car will be provided for up to a maximum of 14 days or until settlement of the claim, whichever is sooner.
In order to qualify for a courtesy car, your car must be repaired with an an RAC select repairer.
