No-claims discount
Our car insurance gives you the opportunity for a discount on your premium if you don't make any claims.
Details
If you make a claim under your insurance, we will reduce your No-claims discount in line with our scale.
If you do not make a claim under your insurance, we will increase your No-claims discount when you renew your insurance in line with the scale we apply at that time.
We do not grant No-claims discounts for insurance running for less than 12 months except in the case of Rapid Bonus insurance which runs for 9 months only. If we allow you to transfer this insurance to another person, any No-claims discount you have already earned will not apply to the person who the insurance is being transferred to.
Third parties can pursue a claim directly against us as insurer in the event of an accident, loss or damage, as permitted under the European Communities Rights Against Insurers) Regulations 2002. In these circumstances we will deal with any claim, subject to the terms and conditions of your insurance. This may affect your No-claims discount.
