Welcome to the new RAC Traffic News tool, which makes it easier for you to see live traffic updates along a selected journey or a specific location. You can also choose to print, email or share the traffic report with your friends and family.
We've also made it easier to understand the cost of motoring with our Fuel and Mileage Calculator tool. Using this tool you can work out what you can claim back in corporate mileage, understand how much a journey costs and details about your CO2 emissions.
The route planner service gives you maps and driving directions for the UK, Europe and beyond, as well as giving you the opportunity to find hotels wherever you're going in the UK. The tool offers individual city driving maps for London and European route directions for longer trips abroad.
Our new traffic news service is intended to improve your ability to plan your journeys. We'll continue to work on improving our Route Planner, Traffic News and Mileage Calculator, so if you have any ideas or notice any issues, please let us know through our contact us service.
This isn't the end of the improvements we've made to our live traffic updates, we've also added RAC member features that will be available to everyone for a limited time, including adding weather information to the maps and being able to set up email traffic alerts for your regular routes.
