RAC have today announced a new sponsorship agreement with West Surrey Racing to compete in the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
RAC have enjoyed four successful years as title sponsor of Team RAC, and the new deal will see them supporting in a co-sponsor capacity for 2010.
Team RAC claimed the Independent Teams Championship three years in a row from 2007 to 2009, with driver Colin Turkington notching a hat-trick of Independent Drivers crowns. Turkington then went on to become the 2009 Overall Drivers Champion in what was a thrilling season for everyone involved with Team RAC.
Kerry Gazzard, RAC Sponsorship and PR Consultant, said: “Our relationship with West Surrey Racing has been extremely successful both commercially and on track for the past four seasons, and to win the title last season was a fitting climax to our title sponsorship.
“We are excited about continuing our association with WSR for 2010, and helping them to retain the Independent Teams title for an unprecedented fourth successive year.”
