Drivers who want to add a quirky personal touch to their car can now use their number plate to tell the world about their favourite food, or even their favourite TV show.
The DVLA is selling a variety of special number plates paying tribute to British "institutions" such as fish and chips and The Only Way Is Essex.
CH11 PPY and TOW 11E are among the "fun-plates" that will go under the hammer at Stratford Manor Hotel on February 1.
And if those don't appeal, there are 1,500 other registrations on offer at the three-day sale, with prices starting from just £250.
The agency has even come up with the perfect gift for all those parents out there - the perfect pairing of H15 MUM and H15 DAD, both with reserves of £900.
Jody Davies from DVLA Personalised Registrations said: "We always manage to come up with an incredible array of personalised registrations to suit all tastes and, with reserves starting from as little as £250, this auction is no exception."
