Ricky Whittle to face driving trial

A court has ruled the former Hollyoaks actor Ricky Whittle will face trial after he was accused of dangerous driving.
The Strictly Come Dancing star appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court in a one-minute hearing.
The 30-year-old , of Billinge, near Wigan, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
He will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on April 21 for a plea and case management hearing.
He was charged by police for allegedly driving deliberately at a freelance photographer after leaving a party. The incident happened in the early hours of November 27 last year.
