What type of changes do I need to tell you about?

You need to inform us of any changes that could impact on your insurance. For example, you should immediately tell us if you change your vehicle, your address, or your additional drivers, or if you receive any motoring convictions.

Please call us on 0844 891 0321 (lines open Mon-Fri 8am to 9pm, Sat 8am to 5pm, Sun closed) to make these types of changes to your policy.

You can change your payment method, and make a payment, by logging in to the car insurance self service centre.


Can I get duplicate policy documents?

Yes. Register with the RAC Car Insurance Self Service Centre to view or print your policy documents.

Alternatively, you can call us on 0844 891 0321* if you would like a paper copy of your policy document or any part of it sent to you, but a fee of £3.00 will be charged.

Operating hours are Mon-Fri 8am - 9pm, Sat 8am - 6pm, closed Sundays and bank holidays.

What should I do if I need to make a change to my car insurance?

You can change your payment details or make a payment online; just register with the RAC Car Insurance Self Service Centre. It also allows you to access your policy online 24-7 and view, download and print your policy documents.

To make any other changes to your car insurance policy, please call customer services on 0844 891 0321*.
