    Default Peugeot 307 Won't start

Any help please. I've got a 2002 Peugeot 307 2.0 HDi, over the past few months we have had problems all starting with a warning for 'unblock fuel filter' filter now changed 3 times in one year. A couple of days ago, the car just died on me, the only warnings were esp/asr?? not working and anti pollutant fault. I pulled the car over, turned the ignition off, and from that point it wouldnt start. The engines turns over easily enough, but its just dead. Its now with a local mechanic - he's struggling and bringing in a specialist, however has anyone got any sensible ideas what the problem might be. It just won't start - no problems showing up on the scan either. Thanks

Has anyone been able to diagnose what is blocking the fuel filter?

No, although there has been the suggestion that there is a faulty senor (dirt build up leading to faulty readings - quite common I'm told). The good (or not so good) news is that the problem with the engine has been fixed. The low pressure fuel pump failed, therefore fuel couldn't get from the tank to the high presure pump in the engine - 350 inc labour to fix. Frankly I hope the car goes lng enough for me to part exchange it for some thing better
