    Default Wheel Bearing Replacement

    Hi again everyone,

I am back again for more advice. This time it is regarding the FRONT OFFSIDE wheel bearing on my wife's 01 Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec estate. It is grumbling like a bugger and I would like to know is this something I can change at home or does it require a press to seat the new bearing properly.

Thanks to all for your help in the past,
    Yours,
    Patdoll

You will need to press the new one in. You may be able to bash the old one out with a big hammer but you risk damage.

This will give you an idea I think.
