Question What first car? Peugeot 108, Citroen C1 or Toyota Aygo?

I'm looking at purchasing my first car (it will be used both to learn in along side lessons and to use once passed) but can't decide which of the three would be the better option?
Am looking for no more than 13,500 (175 pcm) with a deposit of around 2,500. I've had a look across what the three different cars offer and they seem to offer a massive amount of bells and whistles for their price, but which should I go for? Any advice welcome

Also why is it the 7" Mirrorlink stereo system is not compatible with an Apple iPhone? Please don't tell me I'm going to have to rip the stereo out and replace it just so I can have my phone linked to my in car entertainment system?

Have you started taking any driving lessons yet?

You have got to consider a car with good all round visibilty for learning to reverse, so you need to sit in the driving seat and see what obstructions there are to your view when reversing. Also have you considered an Automatic transmission?

Yeah I've already had some lessons already and from sitting in the 108 the driving position/visibility seems fairly good. The blind spot over the right should is quite large but it seems this is now the normal in new cars due to the enhanced safety features.

I've not considered an automatic as that would permanently limit what vehicles are available to me.

Toyota Aygo would be my choice. Have you seen the new 'Go Fun Yourself' advertising campaign by Toyota? Strongly advise you have a look at one of the new ones in the showroom, they're amazing for the money.
