Well my complaint is still ongoing.

Financial Ombudsman finally gave me the green light that it is going to the next level (Ombudsman decision time) regarding warranty.

They now need a final response from the RAC breakdown team so they can make there decision on that. At least they are backing me as the service was unbelievable.

Also anyone else who has problems and they offer to send you sorry letter/compensation don't stop until you get it, I was promised both in July but still nothing.

I would love to upload the full final response letter but don't feel it would be right at the moment but this was one paragraph from the claims manager:

"You raised your concerns surrounding the turbo that was returned was not the original turbo from your vehicle. To which we attempted to investigate to resolve the matter for you."

Nothing else, no findings no answer etc

Really appreciate that you keep us informed of your progress. So many people who post a problem vanish, leaving us in the air. This will be a useful thread for anyone else who finds themselves in the same situation.

As we keep pointing out - The RAC is not a CLUB, as they like to make out, it is an insurance company.
