    Default Coventry to Wallasey without using the M6?

    Hi , is this possible without going miles out of the way?? Really don't like the M6

    Welcome to the site Roxy68, you can do a "route finder" on line, using the RAC or the AA, just type in any roads you want to avoid, and will give you a printout version of the route for you, good luck.

    I used to live in Rugby (before the M6 joined the M1)

    I would get on to the A5 then get on to the M54 heading towards Shrewsbury. From there you have several alternative routes, You could try the A41 towards Whitchurch taking Junction 3 exit from the M54. Stay on the A41 which takes you all the way to the Wirral Peninsula.
