    Default 2000 polo rough idle

Ive had the battery disconnected on a polo for a few days and when i reconnected it today it was running roughly, it was fine beforehand.
does anyone know if these have a learn procedure when you reconnect the battery?
Have not had chance to take it for a drive yet but will try disconnecting the battery again tomorrow and go for a drive.
Any info would be much appreciated.

The throttle on these has a learn procedure but a 20 minute drive may sort it. If your car has a black plastic pipe that runs from the rear of the throttle housing to the brake servo, check it carefully for any splits or cracks. Also, if on the driver's side of the engine there is a rubber pipe that goes down the back of the engine behind the timing belt cover, check this for blockage or splitting.
