    Default Sd cards

    I have lost the SD card for my RAC 1000 sat nav, any help much appreciated.

    Welcome to the site Ian, the only option if you cant find it, you will need to buy a new one. The only positive thing about that will be that you will get the latest updated maps on it, good luck.

    As far as I can see, the operating software is held on the device so any SD card should work as all it has to do is store the maps.

    You should be able to download the maps from http://www.66.com/rac/index.php?cid=UK although it's not obvious how to do it.

    Well, it used to be the RAC that sold them, but I think it must be Route66 now, after reading that link that was posted, good luck.
