Heater cant be adusted to blow down to feet only blows to windscreen also only fan position 4 maximum works anyone any ideas

Welcome to the site tomscot, it sounds like the air adjuster cable has either broken or got stuck, as for the fan switch, it could be stuck, or a faulty switch?

Try taking the fan heater control off and have a look behind it, it might just need a clean, good luck
