Helpful patrolman

On Wednesday evening, 21st March 2012, in Bangor, North Wales, we were having trouble locating the hotel we were supposed to be staying at. I spotted a parked RAC patrol van. When I spoke to the patrolman, he gave me directions to the hotel but then suggested that if we followed himhe would lead us there. This is what we did. I'm afraid I didn't get the name of the patrolman, but thank you for your help, very much appreciated.
