On the way to have a new set of tyres on my car.
Bang a puncture.
Limped back to services and phoned RAC.
Less than 1 hour later smiling man and van appeared. No trailer. Oh bugger how can I get to the tyre depot? I had tried the supplied inflation glue and it was useless.
No worries says man. Removes wheel (not easy) and plugs big hole in tyre with rubber plug. Reinflates and refits.
Insists I follow him to tyre depot in case of any problem. Also means I can't drive the Porsche over 40mph . . .clever guy and a thinking man obviously!
Result a new set of tyres fitted just in time before lunchtime closing.

Welcome to the site happyhector, glad you got fixed up so quickly. At least 40 Mph is a lot faster than 0 Eh!

Did you have to replace replace all 4 tyres? As folk normally just change two at a time.

From the description, the tyre was a write-off anyway Davesdad, but you are correct running on a deflated or very soft tyre will kill it.
