It’s worth contacting your local police and the police in the area where you think you may have lost it. Have you looked here, http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring...ce/DG_10012514 towards the bottom of the page?

Welcome to the site celticfc1888, did you keep a copy of the license number? If you did that will make it easier to replace it.

As Wagolynn says it would be advisable to contact the police, as it might have been handed in, and it could help stop your identity from being being cloned, hope you get it sorted, good luck

ye, had a look. I thought it was only for a FULL driving license?
Says to replace lost or stolen is 20 pound. Thats fine.
How do i go about it? All i can find is replacing a driving license which im assuming is a FULL one, mines being only a provisional.
    Any ideas?

Aye! it could be, but I am not familiar with these modern procedures, bear in mind, my first license was a wee red book

The DVLA will let you know if that is the actual license number, good luck

I think if you go through the questions here, http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring...plyD/DG_067507 you should get an answer to your question, it appears to me that you can.
    Good Luck

Ok, just got off the phone to the police. Gave my dtails etc, said they had not found anything, but gave me a pin number that the DVLA might need for replacing my license, so thats good then.
    Next up, contacing DVLA?
I dont want to muck this up and end up paying 50 for a new one, so could you guys give me a wee hand please ?
