Prodrive has launched a driving course to offer motorists tips on how to drive safely during the treacherous winter conditions.
Motorists will get the chance to prepare for the snow and ice covered roads at Prodrive's private proving ground in Warwickshire.
Drivers will be allowed to lose control of their cars in a safe environment, ahead of being instructed on how to use the steering, brakes and throttle to control a slide.
The driving facility has low friction surfaces that replicate ice and snow in a controllable environment.
Motorists will also be able to use their own cars, so they can understand how their vehicles will react when on the road.
They will need to pay £99 to enroll in the course, which includes a theoretical section about driving on low friction surfaces.
