A Formula One-inspired Batmobile, which will be used in the upcoming Batman Live World Arena Tour, has been unveiled in London.
Batmobile's creator Professor Gordon Murray, who designs Formula One cars, said he drew on his childhood memories of the comic books he read to make the car.
He also brought the experience of creating Formula One cars to the new Batmobile.
Professor Murray said: "From a materials point of view and an aerodynamic shape it's pretty real, or could be real in, say, 20 years time. So it's based on reality.
"But a lot of the systems on the car, the virtual wheels, and the hydrogen fuel cell and stuff is a little bit of fantasy you know, looking towards the future."
TheBatman Live World Arena Tour will present the legendary superhero and his trusty sidekick Robin in an all-new, live-action arena adventure.
It will be a theatrical extravaganza of thrilling stunts, stage flight, acrobatic acts and illusions.
