Volkswagen is offering used-car buyers a scheme it promises will match the experience of taking home a new vehicle.
Branded as Das WeltAuto for "the world car", the programme is being rolled out acrossVolkswagen dealerships around the globe.
It comes with a host of flexible deals on quality-checked used cars, including non-Volkswagen models.
Second-hand cars with less than 100,000 miles on the clock and meeting the required standards will be accepted under the scheme. They will undergo mechanical and full history checks as they are primed for re-sale.
A Das WeltAuto car will come with a minimum warranty of 12 months and a 30-day, 1000-mile "no-quibble" exchange offer.
In addition buyers can pick one free option from a list that includes roadside assistance for one year, MOT protection for three years and MOT tests for life.
Dealers will also advise them on a range of accessories such as alloy wheels, parking sensors and satnav systems.
The carmaker is getting ready to introduce the across it UK network on April 22 following a year-long trial of the scheme with 21 dealers.
