Vauxhall extends swappage scheme

Vauxhall has extended its successful swappage scheme to include the Insignia, Meriva and Zafira models.

The scheme allows buyers to trade in any seven-year-old car registered in the UK for a discount off the cost of any of six Vauxhall models worth at least £3,000.

The cars must have insurance, tax and an MOT, but can be of any value or condition.

The scheme offers buyers an opportunity to save up to £6,000 in some cases. Under swappage, a Zafira Life 1.6 goes from £18,670 to £12,995 - provided the buyer's trade-in vehicle meets the requirements.

Rory Harvey, Vauxhall's Retail Sales Director, said: "There's never been a better time to buy a new Vauxhall. Better still, buyers can take full advantage of the swappage programme just in time for the new '10' plate on March 1."
