A new Alfa Romeo MiTo featuring the two-cylinder TwinAir engine pioneered in the Fiat 500 is now available to order.
The first in a series of two-cylinder petrol engines to be unveiled by the Fiat Group over the coming months, theMiTo TwinAir provides up to 25% more torque than the MiTo's standard petrol models.
Available in two trims - Sprint, priced at £14,150, and Distinctive, priced at £15,350 - the low emissions TwinAir engine is zero road tax rated, as well as being exempt from theLondon congestion charge .
A stop-start system is fitted as standard alongside new vibration-reducing technology, while the mechanically-minded can play with Alfa's D.N.A. drive mode selector, which enables drivers to modify engine response, configuring it towards fun, fuel efficiency or low-grip predictability.
