Passing your driving test is always an achievement to celebrate, but for teenage twins Rosie and Lucy Carleton the celebration came in double as both passed their test at the same time, date and after the same amount of lessons behind the wheel.
The 17-year-old twins, who are in year 12 at St Katherine's School in Pill, Bristol, revelled in their victory after a pressured nine weeks of 30 driving lessons each, as reported in the Bristol Evening Post.
They took their first classes on the day they turned 17 on November 18 and had been working towards passing at the same time with instructors at Keith's School of Motoring in Stapleton.
After the 30 lessons, they took their tests on January 20 at 3pm. Rosie only made four minor errors while Lucy made nine.
Lucy said: "Roundabouts were the hardest thing for me, and I just don't like them.
"I am pleased that we passed first time, I would have been upset if Rosie had passed and I hadn't."
