Toyota is aiming to entice younger car buyers to its range with the launch of a new version of the popular Yaris at the start of next year.
The Japanese car giant is planning to launch the aptly-named Yaris Trend early in 2013 and says the new model has been developed "for younger customers who make fashionable design a priority".
And, with two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels with machine-finished surfaces, roof spoiler, chrome features on fog light surrounds and headlamps, chrome door sills and door mirror covers and LED lamp clusters, the focus has been on the details.
Buyers who choose a white or silver Trend, also get Deco line surface detail running back across the bodywork from the headlights. Other colours in the full range of Yaris exterior finishes will be available as well though.
The price is set to be revealed nearer to the new model's official unveiling early next year but Toyota is aiming to compete with the likes of the Fiat 500 and Citroen DS3 and will want to leave buyers with cash left over forcar insurance and other costs.
