Toyota's quicker-than-expected return to full production in Europe has been hailed by the chief of its UK operations.
The car maker announced earlier that production at all its European factories - including at the Derbyshire and Deeside sites in Britain - will be scaled up to 100% next month after weeks of cutbacks and delays.
Jon Williams, the managing director of Toyota GB, praised everyone involved in getting the work back on track and said dealers across the UK are looking forward to a return to the normal.
He said: "I know the UK dealers will be delighted to be able to offer customers normal delivery lead-times sooner than previously expected."
Production at Toyota's factories was hit following the Japanese earthquake and tsunami which caused a major parts shortage.
But the firm's recovery in Japan has been better than expected, leading to an early return to full production in Europe.
