Tech to the fore in new Corsa

Technology is the key to the all-new Corsa, according to the latest details being teased out by Vauxhall.

The hugely popular supermini's next incarnation is due to be unveiled during next month's Paris Motor Show.

But enthusiasts don't have to wait until October 4-19 to discover some of its secrets.

We now know it boasts a raft of motorist assistance systems as well as a fresh engine line-up.

An advanced tyre pressure checking system, hill start help and heated windscreens all come as standard. Meanwhile a rear-view camera, Advanced Park Assist and daytime-running lamps can also be included as part of the package.

The latest Corsa can even warn you if it thinks you're in danger of a forward collision.

The new 3-cyclinder, 1.0-litre ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo petrol heads an exciting engine line-up.

It also hits Euro 6 exhaust regulations and boasts an up-to-date, stylish high-quality interior, including a cockpit complete with breathtaking motorist control centre.
