A bold new styling and a more powerful engine characterise Suzuki's latest Swift Sport, which is set to make its debut next month.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Japanese carmaker will unveil an upgraded version of the 'warm hatch' which comes with revised engine and suspension.
Swift's exclusive 1.6-litre petrol engine now delivers 134bhp of power and 118lb/ft of torque. It is a significant improvement from the older engine's 113bhp output and 9lb/ft torque.
Suzuki also promises improvements including suspension changes that offer better handling than previous versions.
Fuel economy is also likely to be higher although no official figures on consumption or CO2 emissions are currently available.
One of the highlights of the car, which is known for its distinct shell shape, is the more "fluid" styling evident on the front. However, there appears to be no change in the size and dimensions of the model.
