Subaru has unveiled a limited edition XV Black model of its small 4x4 crossover.
The XV Black models come with the choice of two different engine set ups - either the 2.0-litre Boxer diesel engine that comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, or the 2.0-litre Boxer petrol that is mated with Subaru's Lineartronic automatic transmission.
The special edition model comes in crystal black silica paint, coupled with silver-resin under-guards at the front, rear and side, as well as front and rear mud-flaps, a cargo step panel and a robust cargo tray.
The model is also designed for off-roading on the inside too, with heavy-duty rubber floor mats lining the foot-wells.
The XV Black starts at £24,495 on the road, with over £1,600 worth of additional extras fitted as standard.
It also enjoys a five-star NCAP safety rating and a 90% performance rating for child occupant protection.
Based on the existing SE model, the XV Black could fit somewhere betweeninsurance groups 18 and 26.
