A new range of AMG C 63 saloons and estates is set to grace Mercedes forecourts as early as next spring, the German giant says.
The new high-performance C 63s, which will cost from £59,795, will have similar AMG tuning as the manufacturer's new C-Class models.
They will feature the same 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine as the AMG GT.
Mercedes says it has improved the fuel efficiency of the engine, but confirms it still provides 476 horsepower and is capable of going from zero to 62mph in just 4.1 seconds.
The even more powerful S models deliver 510 horsepower, while the fuel economy of the saloon variant is 34.5mg.
The Mercedes C 63s have a seven-speed gearbox with faster gear-shifts.
The manufacturer has announced that prices for the C 63 estate will start at £60,995, while the S models will cost from £66,545.
