Skoda is due to launch its new family estate, the Octavia Scout, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The Czech manufacturer has revealed the first pictures of the new model, which will go on sale in the UK later this year.
The 4x4 estate is designed to be more capable in off-road situations than previous models. It features 17in wheels and a Haldex four-wheel-drive system. Skoda has also increased the ride height of the original Octavia model by 33mm, and added plastic cladding around the lower parts of the vehicle.
Available engines will consist of two diesels and one petrol unit.
Skoda will unveil the car at the Geneva motor show in March, where it will go on display alongside its new Vision C concept car.
Prices have yet to be confirmed but the Octavia Scout is likely to be a low-cost rival to other 4x4 estates such as the Volkswagen Passat Alltrack.
