Saab has launched a special edition model in its 9-3 range that comes fitted with a revised engine to reduce carbon emissions and increase fuel efficiency.
The 9-3 Turbo Edition costs £19,995 for the Saloon and £21,071.60 for the SportWagon versions.
Saab says it has revised its EcoPower diesel engine range so a 1.9TiD 150 horsepower engine produces CO2 emissions of just 137g/km while giving a fuel efficiency of 54.3 mpg.
The 1.9TTiD 180 horsepower twin turbo diesel engine produces 139g/km and has a fuel consumption of 53.3 mpg.
Additional features in the new edition include 17-inch alloy wheels, leather interiors, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an MP3 compatible nine-speaker audio system and cruise control.
Saab General Manager for Sales and Marketing, David Pugh, said the car offered a low-cost luxury experience for motorists.
He said: "The 9-3 Turbo Edition offers a package that is undeniably appealing on all levels - from price to performance and emissions."
