The UK pricing structure for the new five-door Dacia Sandero has been unveiled by parent company Renault.
Motorists will be able to get their hands on the new model from just £5,995, leaving plenty of spare cash for a good car insurance policy.
Power steering, dual front and side airbags, Isofix child seat mounts, emergency brake assist, daytime running lights and a split folding rear bench seat all come as standard, although the basic Access model has no remote central locking or radio.
But for £600 motorists can upgrade to the Ambiance with radio/CD player with USB and aux input, remote central locking, electric front windows, body-coloured rather than black front bumpers, chrome-effect cabin details and Bluetooth.
A further £1,400 will buy drivers the Sandero's top-of-the-range LaurŽate version with air conditioning, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, cruise control and electric rear windows. The LaurŽate will be available from £7,995. Dacia is forecasting two-thirds of buyers will opt for the Sandero's top level version.
