A rare Aston Martin once owned by motor racing legend Innes Ireland stars in an impressive line-up of classic cars due to go under the hammer next month.
The 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Cabriolet, restored to concours condition, is expected to fetch between £500,000 and £700,000 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale on July 1.
Auction house Bonhams is offering up the Aston Martin alongside a range of sports, competition and touring cars.
Among them is a stunning 1925 Bugatti Type 35B Grand Prix two-seater that once belonged to Jack Perkins, the former director of the Bugatti Owners' Club. It has been valued at £400,000 - £500,000.
A 1967 Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 that boasts Beatles legend Paul McCartney among its owners is expected to fetch up to £120,000.
The lot includes another rare Bugatti, a 1926 Type 37 Monoposto, estimated at between £120,000 and £160,000, while a 1928 Bentley 3-Litre Speed Model that has been with the same family for more than 60 years is valued at £120,000 - £140,000.
