Prince Harry to present F1 trophy

Prince Harry will be in Silverstone next weekend to watch the action at the Formula One British Grand Prix.

He will present the trophy to the winner following the race at the newly refurbished "home of British motor racing" on July 10.

The British contingent, which consists of McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button and Force India driver Paul de Resta, will have the royal support in addition to the thousands of home spectators rooting for them.

Hamilton and Button will once again try to challenge the dominance of Red Bull driver and championship leader Sebastian Vettel who has had a terrific season so far.

Hamilton, who won at Silverstone in 2008 and went on to become the F1 champion that year, has promised fans he will try his best to put on an entertaining performance at the circuit, which unveiled a new pit and paddock in May.

It was reported this week that Harry has started dating Button's ex-girlfriend, Florence Brudenell-Bruce.
