World touring car champion Andy Priaulx has offered driving lessons to diving gold medallist Tom Daley, it has been reported.
The move comes after the 16-year-old diver featured among the 25 competitors offered a car by sponsor BMW ahead of the 2012 London Olympics, The Sun has reported.
The car offer for the Commonwealth Games winner has been made despite him being younger than 17, the age at which one can get a car driving licence in the UK.
Daley, who will turn 17 in May 2011, is reported to have chosen a BMW Mini. He is also believed to be ready to take up Priaulx's offer at the Brands Hatch racing circuit.
The youngster was recently awarded the BBC Young Sports Personality title for the third time.
He won two golds at the Delhi Commonwealth Games in October, topping the 10m individual and 10m synchro with diving partner Max Brick.
