Peugeot's RCZ has surpassed residual value expectations at its inaugural appearance on the used car auction circuit.
At a recent closed auction at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, 15 used examples of the French car brand's recently launched coupe achieved an average of 92% of their original purchase price - 103% of their predicted value.
A mercury grey GT THP 200 model with 6,000 miles on the clock sold for £23,500 - 111% of its predicted value and 97% of the manufacturer's recommended retail price.
The 15 RCZs, all of which sold, had covered an average of 8,000 miles.
