The Peugeot RCZ has once again been named Sports Car of the Year by DieselCar magazine.
It is the fifth year in a row the RCZ has bagged the award, earning plaudits in equal measure for its style and practicality.
The car, which boasts a distinctive double-bubble roofline and potential top speed of 137mph, delivers impressive fuel economy of 54.3mpg on the Combined Drive Cycle.
It has a forceful 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and is able to reach 62mph in 8.7 seconds.
Another attraction that adds to the broad appeal of the RCZ - given a new look in 2013 - is the ability to fold down its rear seats to create an ample sized boot space.
The car costs from £23,950 in Sport trim or £26,350 for the GT specification.
DieselCar editor Ian Robertson said the RCZ provides a "rewarding" drive with nifty handling and "frugal" fuel economy without scrimping on style.
