French auto manufacturer Peugeot has announced that its 508 saloon and SW estate models will retail in the UK after the launch of the range in April.
The 508 range comes with the car brand's proprietary new e-HDi Stop & Start System technology, and offers powerful, fuel-efficient engines with low CO2 emissions, according to Peugeot.
It is set to come in five trim levels - Access, SR, Active, Allure and GT - with seven powertrain options to be available from launch.
The car will be available with two different front suspension configurations - a McPherson type as the main option, while a sporty GT model features a drop link double wishbone structure similar to the Peugeot 407.
Prices for the models range from £18,150 for the 508 Access VTi 120 saloon, to £29,975 for the GT HDi 200 in SW estate form.
