A new high-performance version of the 308 series will be available in the market in July, Peugeot has announced.
The 308 GT THP 200 has been unveiled to mark the French manufacturer's 200th anniversary.
Though the car features a high-performance 200bhp engine - borrowed from the recently launched RCZ coupe model - the carbon dioxide emission level of the car is just 159g/km, the company said.
Other additions in the vehicle include "Sport" lower front panel derived from the 308 CC, bright black carbon-style insert under the front bumper lower skirt, lower rear bumper panel with Perla Nera black diffuser, twin chrome rear exhaust pipes, rear spoiler and "GT" badges.
The car - priced at £21,995 - also offers six paint colours to choose from.
The carmaker is also giving away a free Nokia 5230 smartphone and mounting kit, with inbuilt satellite navigation and free future updates to those customers who make their purchase in July.
