Car enthusiasts will able to see what Skoda's new Octavia vRS has to offer when it makes its first public appearance at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Prices for the latest version of the hot hatch will start from £22,990 on the road, rising to £25,450 for the top of the range model.
A 217bhp petrol-engined hatchback with a manual gearbox is the cheapest of the range, plus 181bhp diesel and DSG automatic variants will also be available.
The diesel engine will be offered for a £270 premium, while DSG costs £1,390 to add, but is already included in the £25,450 price tag of the range-topping diesel estate.
Buyers wanting to get their hands on an estate body style will have to fork out an extra £800 to the price of the hatchback.
Lane-keeping assist, 18-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors, xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, DAB radio, Bluetooth, selectable driving modes and dual-zone climate control all come as standard, as does touch-screen display.
Roof rails and a rear seat backrest release in the boot are also added to the estate models.
