Nissan and Microsoft are continuing their partnership with a scheme called Project Innovation, a programme designed to inspire Britain's next generation of engineers.
The scheme provides young people with the opportunity to work alongside experts responsible for developing technologies used around the world.
And the programme gives one individual the chance to win a trip to see the research facilities of both Nissan and Microsoft.
Three finalists were selected following a call for budding engineers to enter their top ideas for the "connected car".
They went through to a two-day workshop where they were partnered with Nissan and Microsoft experts to come up with ideas for the car of the future.
Nissan and Microsoft are now calling on the British public to visit the MSN Project Innovation hub and see for themselves the ideas that stemmed from the two-day workshop and vote for their favourite.
The winner will be announced on December 29.
