Nissan has announced that the next generation Qashqai will go on sale in January with prices starting at £17,595.
Top-of-the-range models will go up to £27,845 with motorists having four trim levels to choose from. The Qashqai's green credentials have also been greatly improved from its predecessor with carbon emissions below 132g/km.
Even the basic Visia range comes will a high-quality list of built-in features; including auto air-conditioning, hill start assist, cruise control and a large colour digital entertainment system.
The Acenta range has added dual-zone air-conditioning, leather-cladded steering wheel and gear stick, larger alloy wheels and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The Acenta Premium trim adds a digital radio, rear view parking sensors and camera, panoramic sunroof, keyless ignition and lane departure warning system.
The top-of-the-range model Tekna, includes all-round parking sensors, part-leather seats, LED headlights, a seven-inch infotainment screen and 19-inch alloys.
Petrol and diesel engines, with fuel-saving stop-start technology are available throughout the range, with the diesel coming with 1.5-litre and 1.6-litre tanks, while petrol engines will be available in a 1.2-litre and a 1.6-litre option.
Based on the previous generation of Qashqais,car insurance for the new model sure begin around group 15 heading up to group 23.
