The first photos of Kia's latest Picanto city car have been revealed, showing significant changes from the original model.
The car, which will be officially unveiled in front of the world for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in March, has been entirely remodelled and features new engineering.
ThePicanto is now longer in length, featuring an elongated wheelbase, and comes with four completely new powertrains available in 1.0 and 1.2-litre displacements with impressive CO2 emission levels.
Though the normal Picanto comes as a five-door hatchback, the latest version will also feature a three-door option.
The next generation Picanto will boast LPG, bi-fuel and flex-fuel variations will also be given as options with the standard petrol engines.
Peter Schreyer, Kia's chief design officer, said: "In profile, new Picanto features significant sculpting and a very prominent rising character line. The result is a layering of light and shadow and this breaks up the height, giving the car a more sure-footed stance."
