The new Hyundai Veloster Turbo is set for release next month, with excited drivers already signing up to take it for a test drive.
The 184bhp turbocharged version of the distinctive Veloster coupe, which has one door on one side and two on the other, will be priced at £21,995.
Set to hit the road on September 24, the sporty Turbo comes with a reassuring five-year, unlimited mileage guarantee, although drivers will of course still requirebreakdown cover for emergencies.
With firmer dampers to help aid body control, the Turbo has a top speed of 133mph and can do 0-62mph in a speedy 8.4 seconds.
The new model is also the first of Hyundai's vehicles to include the 1.6-litre T-GDI engine with a high-compression, twin-scroll turbocharger.
The Veloster Turbo has CO2 emissions of 157g/km and a fuel economy of 40.9mpg.
Tony Whitehorn, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK, said: "The Veloster Turbo SE brings an extra helping of dynamism, excitement and emotional appeal to our refreshed model line-up."
