Seat's new off-road car will start at £24,385, the company has confirmed.
The Leon X-PERIENCE will have permanent four-wheel-drive capabilities and extra ground clearance, making it suitable for all road situations and weather conditions.
The manufacturer, part of the Volkswagen family, says the estate car will come with a 587-litre boot, expandable up to 1,470 litres with the rear seats folded down.
The car comes with protection mouldings on the door sills and wheel arches, as well as aluminium touches on the rear bumper and lower front spoiler, which Seat says gives the X-PERIENCE a more robust look. There are also integrated fog lamps, twin chrome tailpipes and front air intakes.
The X-PERIENCE uses 4Drive all-wheel-drive, along with the EDS dynamic control system which distributes weight between all four wheels to improve traction, handling and stability, the brand said.
