Commuters in Belfast will be able to make use of new park-and-ride bus services from next month.
The bus service is being introduced for the Cairnshill park-and-ride site in south Belfast, with return tickets costing £2.20.
Buses will run every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes at off-peak times. Priority bus lanes on the busy Ormeau Road will ensure faster journey for commuters.
The new services aim to reduce congestion on the city streets and encourage more people to use public transport.
Regional development minister Conor Murphy said: "I welcome the introduction of this frequent dedicated bus service for the Cairnshill Park and Ride.
"This facility is an important element of the department's commitment to promote more sustainable travel, by offering commuters on this corridor an alternative for their journey into the city centre."
The Cairnshill park and ride site offers 700 free parking spaces.
