The new Mini Clubvan has claimed a top industry award just months after being unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Clubvan, which starts at £11,175, claimed the 2013 What Van? Awards' Editor's Choice prize.
Mini's latest offering received recognition for providing style, efficiency and driving dynamics which are not generally associated with light commercial vehicles.
What Van? Editor Paul Barker said that the motor's arrival in the light commercial vehicle arena was the "most exciting and charismatic for many years".
He added that the Mini Clubvan would be particularly beneficial for smaller firms thanks to its combination of workman-like light van practicality with a style that is not available elsewhere in the market.
Mr Barker also said that the model provided unrivalled driving pleasure and fuel efficiency.
This will be good news for motorists who are aiming to cut driving costs such as fuel and car insurance.
The new Mini is built at Oxford's Mini Plant.
