Maserati has announced details about its latest GranTurismo model, claiming it to be the lightest, fastest and most powerful car in the range.
The GranTurismo MC Stradale, which is scheduled to be introduced at the Paris Motor Show next month, is powered by the 4.7-litre V8 engine.
According to the Italian luxury car manufacturer, the new coupe is based on the Trofeo GranTurismo MC and the race-winning GT4 motorsport models.
The 444bhp vehicle, which promises a top speed of over 186mph, is expected to hit showrooms early next year.
Maserati said: "The GranTurismo MC Stradale responds to demands for a GranTurismo which can balance on-road driving needs with race-driving desires, incorporating the handling and aerodynamic lessons from Maserati's three racing programs."
